Syfy's 'Eureka' on par despite Friday shift

The season premiere of Syfy's"Eureka" drew 2.6 million viewers Friday night. The debut of season "3.5" was down a slight 7% from last year's opener, but that's actually pretty good considering the show shifted to Fridays this summer.

Also, Sunday's premiere of Lifetime’s new series “Drop Dead Diva” was the network’s highest-rated original drama since “Army Wives” launched two years ago. The debut, about a vapid model reincarnated as a plus-sized attorney was seen by 2.8 million viewers and earned a 1.6 rating among women 18-49. After, “Army Wives” (3.8 million, 2.3) hit a season high.
