'Big Brothers' premieres matches last year

Bb11 The 11th round of CBS' "Big Brother" debuted Thursday night. The reality show was up 10% compared to last year's Sunday debut, and flat when compared to its first Thursday episode.

"Brother" (6.7 million viewers, 2.3 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) doesn't pop as strongly in the ratings as most of the other returning broadcast reality shows, but it tends to serve up a steady number for an inexpensive hour.

Fox won the night with a repeat and the evening's highest-rated show, "So You Think You Can Dance" (7.8 million, 2.8) was up from last week's Michael Jackson obscured outing. CBS was second with "Brother" and repeats. NBC placed third with repeats and "Listener" (3.2 million, 0.7). ABC was fourth with "Samantha Who" (3.4 million, 1.1) and repeats.
