'Northern Lights' is Lifetime's most-watched movie

Tabloid rumors likely helped Lifetime's presentation of "Nora Roberts’ Northern Lights," which became the network's most-watched movie so far this year.

"Lights" was seen by 4.5 million viewers on Saturday night, topping Lifetime's list of 2009 movie premiere ratings. The project stars LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, who supposedly had an affair during the shoot. Guess it always helps when a network's scripted fiction has more convincing on-set romance than MTV's so-called reality single-life shows.

Dialog like this didn't hurt: "Now that we've run out of things to say, do you want to have sex? You know, hot, wet, forget-all-of-our-problems sex. It's basic, it's primal, and it's low in fat."

PREVIOUS: They just don't title Lifetime movies like they used to...

I watched Northern Lights and something on me certainly went north thanks to super hottie Eddie Cibrian! Yummo! Leeann Rimes is so lucky I just want to scratch her eyes out. Last night I dreamed that I was Leeann Rimes, but attractive and with male genetalia, and me and Eddie made love all night long. It would have been low in fat, but we were covered in marshmallow cream and rice crispies. Talk about going snap, crackle and then POP! Mmmm.... Thank you Leeann Rimes for ruining women for Eddie....now I have a chance!!!

I watched Northern Lights... unfortunately that is 2 hours of my life, I can't get back! I thought the plot was very weak but, the acting was just horrid. Leann Rimes is a terrible actress. I mean truly, I kept thinking the movie would have been so much better with an actual actress in the lead role. She is an amazing singer but, she should just skip acting.
Anyway, I will watch all the Nora Roberts movies coming up on Lifetime in the next few weeks but, I will definitely hope they are much better than this one!!

it did well because the tabloids have been hyping the affair between the 2 stars for weeks!!!i saw it and she was boring!! she moved to ca. to get more acting jobs!! go back home or take acting lessons!!! no talent whatsoever!!thier love scenes were real looking tho" for aforementioned reason!!!
