New trailer: 'Skins' Season 3
Below is a new trailer for the third season of BBC America's much-buzzed-about "Skins." This was one of the best previews shown during the cable portion of TCA (previously discussed here), and the network was kind enough to send over a copy. It's a four-minute, online-exclusive-that-I-know-of introduction to the new cast -- where a group of mostly inexperienced teen actors replace "Skins" freshman such as Dev Patel (who went on to star in "Slumdog Millionaire").
"Skins" isn't for everyone. The show's style is an exaggerated reality, sort of like a comic book about oversexed high school kids instead of superheroes. Its writers are newcomers, all in their early twenties. Yet the trailer's crass energy could make you want to go commit a misdemeanor or two. Video after the jump (some NSFW language and brief nudity).
