NBC orders more 'Howie'

NBC has ordered 12 more episodes of the hidden-camera show “Howie Do It.”

The series has boosted the network's average in its Fridays at 8 p.m. slot by 64% this season, even though the show has performed modestly. "Howie" has averaged 6.5 million viewers and a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49.

" 'Howie Do It' has proven to be a solid performer for NBC on Friday nights," Paul Telegdy, NBC's head of alternative, said in a statement. "America loves to laugh along with Howie, and we think his latest pranks in these new episodes will be even more clever and entertaining."
