NBC: 'Heroes' safe (for now)

TCA -- "Heroes" need not worry about cancellation this season, says NBC's president of primetime entertainment, Angela Bromstad.

The NBC drama has gone from one of the network's top-rated programs to approaching worrisome ratings territory during the past few months, especially given the show's price tag.

" 'Heroes' is very secure," she says. "We have a great relationship with Tim Kring ... what’s important is we never lose sight of being responsible in production. And television is about the characters and the writing, and we want to make sure that that show is on track. But very secure. I think that what Tim is interested in doing is getting back to the core of the show and that it's these ordinary people with extraordinary powers and that they may have taken on too much in terms of characters and multiple storylines."

Bromstad notes the show "may have taken on too much, in multiple storylines" in the recent future. She also refused to proclaim "Lipstick Jungle" dead, though its ratings suggest otherwise.

"I think that there are alternatives that we may look into for 'Lipstick Jungle,'" she said. "It's all conversation for fall, and we have to wait and see what our pilots are and what the mix of shows are."

Bromstad was is uncertain about the fate of "Knight Rider," and "Kath & Kim."

"Those were fair tries," she says. "Obviously, in the ratings, they're not holding up.  And that's indicative that those are shows that may or may not come back."

"Life" was listed between Knight Rider and Kath and Kim yesterday when the briefer version of the post came out -- but now it isn't mentioned here or in any other post about NBC. What gives? It's like an invisible show...

nbc wants tim kring to go back to what he stole in season one on heroes from a ordinary artist named enjai eele and his extraordinary ability that hunter college nyc invited him to teach to the students in 2005.
that ability? painting the future on canvas as a real life underground nyc art star.
dude even created a fictional character called idai markus based on his real life artistic experiences as an artist that can paint the future.
fast forward a few years and idai markus is now isaac mendez on nbc's heroes as tim kring's original creation.
tim kring was rolling with this lie until a lawsuit was filed by the art star and like magic isaac mendez disappeared.... never to be heard from ever again.
madoff ain't the only big thief.

ANGELA IS RIGHT!!!!
NBC DOES HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH TIM KRING.
NBC IS THE TOP
AND TIM KRING IS THEIR BOTTOM.
BOW DOWN BITCH AND DO AS YOU'RE TOLD.
AND RIGHT NOW BIG POPPA WANT A NUMBER ONE HIT.
WRITE IT BITCH.... NBC'S FANS AND TOP BRASS ARE WAITING.

write it bitch?
You mean hack it bitch, right?
tim kring is a hack, not a writer.

thanks james for this awesome rss feed!! i can post and send stuff to freinds and my facebook page!! anyway heroes is awesome!!!
