MTV renews 'City,' 'Girls' & orders 'Teen Cribs'

MTV has renewed freshman reality shows "The City" and "Daddy's Girls," and given a series order to the recent special "Teen Cribs."

The network will bring back Whitney Port's "Hills" spinoff for a second season, as well as additional episodes of Vanessa and Angela Simmons' "Daddy's Girls." MTV has also ordered 20 episodes of spinoff "Teen Cribs" (which debuted as a special on Jan. 17).

Still undecided: The fate of Brody Jenner’s freshman series "Bromance."

Thanks MTV, now I can tune in to see what teen stars are living better than I am.

That should really do wonders for my self-esteem.

Awesome, I love The City
Bromance should be canceled though, it sucks, big time

mtv picked up the city, daddy's girls and teen cribs because they're cheap to produce, and it buys mtv time to figure out what to do with the hills. mtv's between a rock and a hard place with the hills because lauren's real life doesn't relate to what is seen on the hills itself. lauren's a fashion designer, and she's got a boyfriend who's not on the hills. plus, whitney's got her own show, and audrina went awol on lauren in late 2007 and all of 2008. so the tight-knit trio of lauren, audrina, and whitney doesn't exist anymore. at this point, mtv must highly consider dissolving the hills and start fresh with a new show focusing on lauren's real life.

How about the Gills - about gilbert gottfried

actually Joe, they're not celebs...they're regular americans who worked hard for a good life!
