Fox tops Tuesday with 'House'

Despite airing a "Fringe" repeat Tuesday night, Fox stayed on top thanks to a healthy airing of "House" (13.9 million viewers, 5.6 preliminary adults 18-49 rating and a 15 share) -- the evening's highest-rated show in the adult demo.

NBC placed second, with "The Biggest Loser" (9.2 million, 3.6/9) performing strong. At 10 p.m., "Law & Order: SVU" won its hour (10.9 million, 3.7/10).

CBS aired repeats and landed in third in the demo (averaging 12.1 million, 2.4/6), yet still managed to win the night among total viewers.

After a special holiday-themed “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (7.3 million, 2.0/5), ABC offered an hour of  "According to Jim" originals (averaging 5.2 million, 1.7/4), which fell double digits from their season premieres last week. "Eli Stone" continued to fall (4.9 million, 1.4/4) at 10 p.m. The CW aired repeats.
