'Got Talent' retains Tuesday lead

With ABC airing a "Wipeout" clip show, NBC's "America's Got Talent" easily dominated Tuesday night.

The two-hour edition of "Got Talent" (12.4 million viewers, 3.5 preliminary adults 18-49 rating and a 10 share) was down slightly from last week (its lead-in was a game show repeat), but nonetheless led NBC to a nightly victory in the adult demo and among total viewers.

ABC placed second, led by a best-of edition of "Wipeout" (7.3 million, 2.8/9). With this weaker-than-usual lead-in, the two-hour season finale of “I Survived a Japanese Game Show” (4.5 million, 1.8/5) was its lowest-rated episode to date.

CBS and Fox tied for third. CBS aired repeats and "Big Brother," which continued to gain steam (6.4 million, 2.4/7). Fox aired repeats (averaging 4.8 million, 1.9/6).
