'Dance' finale tops Wednesday

Despite matching its Wednesday season-low number, "So You Think You Can Dance" topped the night and led Fox to a clear victory.

Part one of the "Dance" finale (8.7 million viewers, 3.0 preliminarily adults 18 to 49 rating and a 10 share) put Fox over the top for the night against mostly repeat competition. CBS was second, with repeats and an average "Greatest American Dog" (5.9 million, 1.5/5). ABC was third with repeats and "Primetime: China Inside Out" (5.3 million, 1.5/5). NBC aired repeats and its "Baby Borrowers" town hall reunion special (3.3 million, 1.2/3), which placed last among the major networks in the 9 p.m. hour.
