CBS pushes 'Survivor' into 'Grey's'

CBS is throwing down the Thursday gauntlet.

The network is pushing the season premiere of "Suvivor: Gabon" from Sept. 18th to the 25th, where CBS will air the show's first-ever two-hour premiere.

The move puts the "Survivor" premiere right into the throes of a very competitive night. By airing a two-hour episode that extends to 10 p.m. on the 25th, "Survivor" will go head-to-head with the debut of a two-hour "Grey's Anatomy" at 9 p.m. on ABC, and the one-hour premiere of NBC's "The Office."

Also, as you'll recall, the "Survivor" premiere will mark the show's high-definition debut.  The episode will be followed by a repeat of last season's "CSI" finale cliffhanger.
